The event will feature The Alice DiMicele Band with special guest Jeff Pevar and David Gelfand, Momo Smitt, activist/musician/poet and Lesley Adams of KS Wild
This event is to raise awareness and raise our voices about the Bureau of Land Management's assault on our remaining old-growth in western Oregon. In August, the Bush Administration released a plan to clearcut our remaining public old-growth for a short-term economic gain. These are public lands, and we are entrusting the government to manage them on our behalf - now is the time to speak up for those that have no voice. The public comment period ends January 11th. Now is the time to mobilize ourselves, our neighbors and our friends, for the trees, for the future.
